Pro: Comfort

This means that touring motorcycles are among the most comfortable motorcycles to ride. 

Con: Maneuverability

Touring motorcycles are generally built for stability rather than maneuverability. While a big and bulky frame might be a good choice for highway riding, it also makes the motorcycle more difficult to steer. If you want a motorcycle that offers easy turning, then a touring motorcycle might not be the best choice. 

Pro: Extra Storage

Another area where touring motorcycles tend to shine is storage space. A standard touring motorcycle should have enough room to keep your miniature tool kit, rainproof outerwear, water bottle, and first aid kit close at hand while still providing space for your overnight supplies like medications and toiletries. Con: Fuel Efficiency

Touring motorcycles are some of the heaviest bikes on the market, which means that they aren’t as fuel efficient as other motorcycle types. While touring motorcycles usually have larger fuel tanks to compensate, it's worth noting that you’ll still be paying more for gasoline in the long run.
